Riders on the Storm: a conversation with Alastair McIntosh

Integrating science and spirituality, Alastair McIntosh’s new book Riders on the Storm examines what it may take for humanity to survive the climate crisis, in locations ranging from the islands of Scotland to the rainforests of New Guinea. The ecologist uses his wide-ranging background – from land reform and globalisation to psychology and spirituality – to interrogate the complex ways through which we humans interact with the precious world that sustains us.

Join Alastair in conversation with the Rev’d Mark Johnstone, Minister of Glasgow Cathedral, to delve deeper into this fascinating juxtaposition of physical and intangible. At the end of the event there will be a chance for questions, and to get your own signed copy of Riders on the Storm: The Climate Crisis and the Survival of Being.
