GCF2026
Rooted in discovery
Glasgow Cathedral Festival returns from 17–20 September 2026 with a special 10th anniversary programme celebrating a decade of music, art and ideas in Glasgow's oldest building. Grounded in the theme Rooted in discovery, the GCF2026 programme reflects on the festival’s roots, and what has grown from them—exploring more broadly how our inhabitation of places has the power to shape the present and change the future. From site-specific premieres and world-class chamber music to contemplative late-night concerts, silent cinema and a programme of talks and tours inspired by the cathedral and its place in the city's story, GCF unfolds across four days of performances, conversation and shared discovery.
